Riparbella (PI)

Once again La Regola surprises for the richness and complexity of its wines: the French varieties find a particularly favorable territory in Riparbella, which allows them to develop their characteristics in their best expressions. The Riparbella area indeed is one of those areas to be kept under observation in Tuscany for its potential. It was already planted with vines since the times of the Etruscans and it has shown all its character in recent years, receiving huge appreciation from both some of the most renown critics and the media, which allow predictions of a significant increase in the value of wines from these lands. Lauro is a white with phenomenal evolutionary potential, especially in regards to its aromatic evolution that will enable the wine to have a complexity rarely reached by Italian whites.

In the glass, Lauro has a honey color with golden and brilliant nuances. To the nose this viognier releases a myriad of aromas and facets: orange blossoms, hawthorns and frangipanes, followed by ripe Mirabelle plums and gooseberries, tropical fruit and in the end honey and almond notes. In the mouth the consistency is buttery, almost “fat”, given by the considerable amount of glycerin typical of the grape. A gastronomic and complex wine.
