The “Cavaliere” is now recognized as one of the most interesting expressions of Sangiovese in Tuscany. Its vineyards were planted with rational criteria, respecting nature and its rhythms. After a first harvest, one / two bunches per plant are carefully selected for further maturation, which will be then part of the selection of grapes for the Cavaliere, for a production of no more than 6000 bottles, which will contain a rare and highly elegant wine, which can be aged for over 20 years.
The color of the “Cavaliere”is bright ruby, very transparent. On the nose, strong hints of wisteria, moonflowers, thorn apple and then currant, pomegranate, mandarin peel, orange juice and rosemary. Medium body, perfectly ripe tannins of splendid and graceful shape and a balanced and a very pleasant finish.
