The Barolo Riserva of Casa E. di Mirafiore is produced only with the best grapes from the best vineyards of the company. The wine is released on the market only after an aging of five years in wood, which allows the wine to evolve by softening the tannins and developing a very rich variety of aromas and sensations. Barolo is a cult wine, a world symbol of Italian excellence, 2007 was one of the best vintages in the last 15 years, a wine for expert amateurs but also for those who want to indulge in a moment of luxury.
The colour of this Barolo is garnet, intense and limpid. The aromas are those of a great wine in evolution: pot pourri and dried rose petals, cherries in alcohol, prunes and dried mushrooms and then the freshness of mint and camphor. On the palate it is extremely elegant, the tannic texture, very dense and silky, creeps into the mouth, caressing it, the sip is accompanied by a great minerality and still remarkable freshness. Long and warm finish
