This Super Tuscan is born from the combination of three grapes, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Syrah, and intends to celebrate a particular moment the Roman ancient mythology. Michele di Lando in 1343 wrote in a poem that a certain Lena introduced the beautiful Semele, daughter of the king of Cadmus, to Jupiter, the king of the gods, with whom he fell in love. He then chose a forest in a valley of the Chianti region as their meeting place. From their love was born Bacchus who, once he became the god of wine, blessed that valley dear to him thus guaranteeing that prestigious wines would be born there. The Querceto Romantic was born just in that valley and therefore is committed to be the most luxurious expression of these lands; it is produced on a Petit Verdot basis only in the best vintages and in very limited quantities. The great structure of the 2013 vintage will make it capable of evolving for a long time. An ideal wine for collectors.

Querceto Romantic in the glass is of impenetrable purple color, with orange reflections. The olfactory picture contains a wide variety of clues, such as lavender, roasted pepper, tobacco, tanned leather, and cinnamon. In the mouth the tannins are sinuous and the body is both round and enveloping. The finish is ferrous, almost rusty, and is the evidence of a savory and territorial structure.
