Sonderete is a Vin Santo of unique value, produced in a very few hundreds of bottles that are the daughters of a very long process of selection and refinement. A real treasure for connoisseurs, a wine that has virtually no evolutionary peak, but that can evolve year after year enriching its bouquet and its sensations thus increasing its value, both from a collector’s point of view and for the most palates refined and curious.
This coastal Vin Santo has a very dark, dense burnished color, with reflections of amber. It releases initial aromatic notes of walnut husk and carobs and then come those dried fruits such as dates and apricots, fungal underwood, humus and pepper, sandalwood and balsamic gusts of cardamom. In the mouth is of an exceptional sweetness, both viscous and powerful, the sensations on the palate are consistent with those of the nose, and once again there are dried fruits, such as figs and dates, refreshed by the spicy and balsamic sensations.
