The very nature of Il Caberlot makes it as a wine of extreme interest both for collectors and investors: Caberlot grape, in fact, is a hybrid born from the cross between Merlot and Cabernet that grows only in Podere Il Carnasciale, in a small vineyard of 3.5 hectares. The production of the bottles is very limited: only 3,500 bottles exclusively in the Magnum version, a format that allows the wine to evolve and reach its evolutionary potential, which well exceeds twenty years.
Il Caberlot 2018 shows its power and richness from the first glance: in the glass the color is a deep, intense, voluptuous ruby. The nose announces the complexity of a wine that is still young but full of promises: a triumph of ripe blackberries, blueberries and plums which then turn towards spicy notes of nutmeg and cloves. In the mouth the wine is opulent, enveloping and velvety but at the same time balanced by flavor and acidity. The Caberlot is remarkably structured and evolves quickly even in the glass, giving each sip new facets and emotions.

It’s just a partial information, the only global readily available, since many factors influence the price in wine-searcher.com and are neither strictly related with the quality performances of the wine nor with its scarcity/abundance on the market.
