Syrah was by far the favorite grape variety by Virgilio Bisti, the founder of the winery together with his wife Rita. Virgilio would have chosen that variety “forever” among the others. It is clearly perceived that Per Sempre is a special wine, made with love, in a tailored way and in a very limited edition, only a few thousand bottles. Thanks to its elegance and structure Per Sempre 2018 is a wine that is suitable both for collectors looking for a fine wine that will increase its value and quality over the years, and for those who want to indulge in an evening of luxury and pleasure.
In the glass Per Sempre has a stunning ruby color, bright and intense. Its aromatic profile is extraordinarily complex and seductive: passion and lilac flowers give soon room to aromas of ripe black cherries and cassis, then rhubarb root, and spices, where Sichuan pepper, cardamom and finally sandalwood stand out. In the mouth, this pure Syrah strikes for its elegance and femininity, it is full-bodied yet with a very fine tannic texture, characterized by an intense mineral vein and excellent freshness. Long persistence with a spicy finish.
